10 Most Beautiful White Sunflower Varieties

Strawberry Blonde (Helianthus annuus): Helianthus Annuus - Strawberry Blonde has multicolored petals that makes it one of my favorite Sunflowers. The flowers are up to 6 inches wide, and each petal has a darker center not as dark as burgundy, but a faded burgundy, then it goes to a rosy pink shade and then the tips are a lemon ice color. It looks like the color is washing out from the center, which is a nice dark chocolate color full of seed the bees love and when the seed is ripe, the birds will devour it! This plant will get around 6 feet and needs support as the plant branches and flowers are produced on each branch, so it can get top heavy, and support will solve that. Sunflowers are great to grow for the pollinators as they love Sunflowers. Easy to grow from seed and easy to care for once staked, they can tolerate a bit of heat and drought more than other plants. Great for Garden background or by a shed or wall to help protect from wind. Once you grow a Sunflower you will always have seed for the following year and be able to feed your Garden birds. 20+ seed per pack. Planting Zone: 2 - 11. Height: 5 – 6 feet. Width: up to 2 ½ feet. Resistant to Deer and Rabbit.
