Eight Of The World's Creepiest Trees In The World

Brazilian Grapetrees (Myrciaria cauliflora): It is known as the Brazilian grape tree or jabuticaba , the fruit and the flowers of this grape tree actually grow on the tree trunk. These fruits, often compared to grapes in flavor, grow all over the bark of the tree rather than from its branches as other fruit-bearing trees would. In season, it looks almost as though the tree is covered in large warts. And there are no strangling vines to destroy other vegetation. Unusual? Very much so. Sadly, jabuticaba only grown in a specific geographic area in Brazil. The Brazilian grape tree grows in places where there are lots of tortoises. As the fruits mature and fall to the ground, the tortoises have a feast in the shady mulch beneath the trees.
