Jamal Adams' Short Stint with the Titans Comes to a Close

Jamal Adams' time with the Tennessee Titans is officially over. As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Titans have decided to release the injury-plagued safety. This decision comes after Adams managed only 20 snaps this season, as injuries continue to hamper the former Pro Bowler's performance, leaving him far from the standout player he once was.

The Titans had recently placed Adams on the non-football injury list, but he now enters free agency, where he is immediately available to sign with any team.

Whether any team will take a chance on him remains uncertain. Once regarded as a dynamic playmaker in the safety role, Adams has been sidelined with multiple severe injuries, missing more games than he has played over the past four seasons.

Coincidentally, today marks Adams’ 29th birthday, and it could also signal the end of his NFL career.
