At the funeral where his family accepted condolences, many famous names like Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, Berk Oktay, and Nefise Karatay were present. The beloved athlete and actor, who was sent off with tears, was buried following the afternoon prayer.
Actor and presenter Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, who attended the funeral, said, "Our friendship with Hasan began at the Best Model semi-finals. We first met then, back in the summer of 1997. At the 1997 Turkey finals, we were roommates. In my heart, Hasan was the winner, and for him, I was the winner. I was chosen first, and he was second. We both went our separate ways, but we kept in touch. This illness process was very tough. But he was such a wonderful person, a good person. I'm sure you'll hear the same from everyone. It's so early, every death is early, but Hasan left us way too soon. Nine years ago, Sertac also left us. They both left behind two little girls. I hope they meet good people in life, and their futures are bright. I pray for their children," he said. Actress İpek Tenolcay added, "We are saddened, saying goodbye to a dear friend. May God give strength to those left behind. We have a group, and even if we didn't see each other often, we always kept in touch."

Actor Berk Oktay also expressed his sadness, saying, "We are very saddened. Hasan was such a beautiful person. So young, that's the heartbreaking part. Death is a reality for all of us, but he was so young. May God give strength to his family. I hadn't seen him recently, but mutual friends did. He was a very good person."
