Common Baron Caterpillar (Euthalia aconthea): At first sight, the image below may just seem like a green leaf. But look closer, and you'll notice that an incredibly well camouflaged caterpillar is resting on it. It is also called common baron, often called simply baroni. Common Baron catepillar is a medium-sized nymphalid butterfly native to Sri Lanka, India and southeast Asia. It flies with stiff wing beats and often glides. The wing is not flapped very far below the horizontal.
