Beluga Whale Duo Puts A Large Smile On Their Face When Released Back Into The Ocean

They’re home at last. Beluga whales Little Grey and Little White have finally been reunited with the sea after nearly a decade at a Chinese aquarium. The whales had been kept from their natural environment since 2011.

The Beluga Whale Sanctuary is an open-water sanctuary for belugas, so it allows the belugas to adjust to the colder Icelandic environment. Little Grey and Little White stayed there for several months until they were released back into the ocean. Image Credits: ABC News
