Couple Rescues Giant Sea Turtle Stuck Between Rocks

Green sea turtles are one of the coolest ocean-dwelling species. Growing to over 350 pounds in adulthood, they are also one of the biggest. It makes them quite hard to move around — something that one couple in Oman found out recently when they were trying to rescue one.

Ultimately, they found that the turtle's predicament was no match for their human muscles.They needed more leverage. They dug out a little area around the turtle in the sand. Then the girl grabbed a big wooden board and used it to pry the turtle out while the boyfriend pushed from the other side with all of his strength.It made us quite worried for the boyfriend while we were watching. It honestly looked like he was about to throw his back out.
