One animal-loving judge is doling out some strange sentences to repeat animal abusers in Ohio to creatively encourage them to change their behaviors. Judge Michael Cicconetti presides over all manner of cases in his hometown of Painesville, OH and he is known for his creative judgment calls all over the country.

Judge Cicconetti hopes that dolling out these creative sentences will spread awareness about animals that are not receiving the proper treatment — and the consequences that come with it.
