Woman Rescues Baby Squirrel After She Falls Out Of Nest – She Comes Back One Year Later With Special 'Gift'

It was a cold and windy day in South Africa when a little squirrel fell out of her nest. Simone Serfontein was at her friend’s house when she heard the squirrel crying for his mother, but she never came to get him.

Sadly, the baby was stillborn, but Simone does not believe that Dingetjie was ready to become a mother at just six months old. One year later, Dingetjie became pregnant again and returned to make a nest at Simone's home out of toilet paper.
