Woman Rescues Baby Squirrel After She Falls Out Of Nest – She Comes Back One Year Later With Special 'Gift'

It was a cold and windy day in South Africa when a little squirrel fell out of her nest. Simone Serfontein was at her friend’s house when she heard the squirrel crying for his mother, but she never came to get him.

Simone and her boyfriend Christof did tons of research to try and figure out how best to take care of the squirrel, and she had to get up numerous times during the night to feed her."I did not really know anything about raising a baby squirrel and had to do a lot of research, I never knew that raising a squirrel could be this hard," she said.
